BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police say two teenagers were shot just before 1 a.m. Saturday on the first block of Briscoe Avenue near Walden Avenue.
According to police, a 17-year-old Buffalo male was shot and transported to ECMC with serious injuries, he was pronounced dead Saturday afternoon.
A 15-year-old West Seneca male was also shot and was transported to Oishei Children's Hospital where he was treated and released.
Police say the 17-year-old that was killed was Bishop Timon High School student Paul Humphrey, he was also a member of the Bishop Timon football team.

The high school posted the statement below on Facebook page Saturday evening.
