DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WKBW) — Dunkirk police say they've arrested two men following a shooting investigation and a pursuit, Friday morning.

Authorities say 22-year-old Jesus A. Montero-Perez and 20-year-old Kenyis M. Gonzalez-Torres, both of Dunkirk, were charged after police say fired several shots toward a garage in the 600-block of Leopold Avenue just after 9 a.m. Friday.

Police say they fled the scene in a red sedan shortly after.

Several moments later police pursued them on Central Avenue, after they traveled at a high rate of speed, which ended on Day Street in Fredonia.

After they stopped, police say three people, were in the vehicle, with two taken into custody.

Police are still searching for a third man but they do not believe he was armed or is a threat to the community.

Montero-Perez was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, while Gonzalez-Torres had outstanding previous Bench warrants through Dunkirk City court.

Both were arraigned in Dunkirk City Court, and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

Montero-Perez is currently being held on $100,00 bail, while Gonzalez-Torres is being held on $25,000 bail.
