BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Two men are facing charges for spray painting graffiti on Buffalo City Hall during a protest Sunday night.

Sir Raven M. Rodgers, II, of Buffalo is charged with one felony count of criminal mischief and a misdemeanor count of making graffiti and possession of graffiti instruments. Another 23-year-old man was issued an appearance ticket.

According to the Erie County District Attorney's Office, Rodgers and his co-defendant spray painted the doors of the South Elmwood Avenue side of the building. He had spray paint in his possession when he was taken into custody, prosecutors said.

Rodgers is due back in court on July 20.

An earlier version of this story listed the defendant as Sir Raven Rodgers, II without a middle initial. Investigators have since clarified the defendant is Sir Raven M. Rodgers, II, not to be confused with his brother.
