LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WKBW) — New York State Police say troopers responded to a property in Lockport around 6:30 Friday morning for a possible shooting.

According to investigators, two male hunters ages 44 and 37, entered a Raymond Road property near Rapids Road to hunt when they located hunting decoys in the area.

The two men began to leave that area of the property when police say they were allegedly shot by 59-year-old Scott Brown with a 12-gauge black powder gun with turkey shot.

Police say one man had pellets lodged in his face and the other in his back.

Brown approached the victims and then left the scene, according to officials.

The 44-year-old victim was taken to ECMC for non-life threatening injuries, the 37-year-old victim was treated at the scene.

Brown faces an assault in the third degree and reckless endangerment in the second degree charge and was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Niagara Court later in the month.
