GOWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County Sheriff's Office says the SWAT team rescued two people from the Zoar Valley gorge over the weekend.
Authorities say they came to the end of the trail on Saturday at 6 p.m., and when they tried to turn back, it was too steep and unsafe.
The SWAT team was able to perform a successful rescue.
Nobody was hurt.
