TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Town of Tonawanda police are investigating a fatal Friday night crash at Sheridan Drive and Military Road.
Police say the crash occurred just before 11 p.m and involved six vehicles.
The occupants of one vehicle, 21-year-old Tyler Lichtenberger and 21-year-old Gianna Ameno both of North Tonawanda, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Five other vehicles were involved and resulted in three other people being transported to Kenmore Mercy Hospital and ECMC for treatment.
Their identities and conditions have not been released.
Police say speed was a factor in this crash but there are no charges at this time.
The Town of Tonawanda Accident Unit and Criminal Investigation Bureau continue to investigate.
