Two Buffalo men sentenced for 2017 east side homicide

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County District Attorney's Office announced two Buffalo men have been sentenced for their role in a 2017 east side homicide.

23-year-old David Hunter and 24-year-old Brandon Jones have been sentenced to 20 years in prison followed by five years post-release supervision after pleading guilty to first degree manslaughter for the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Mychal Brown on February 21st, 2017.

Brown was shot and killed in the area of Roma and East Delavan.

Hunter and Jones were sentenced as second violent felony offenders.
