BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Two people are accused of animal cruelty after deputies say they killed two chickens and a duck.

Deputies say the owner of the Elma property found a severed chicken head on a barn floor Friday. Two chickens and a duck were found deceased on an adjacent property.

One resident told police they saw two people walking down Hemstreet Road yelling, swearing, and high-fiving each other. Police arrested 22-year-old Austin Jimerson and 20-year-old Aden Jimerson.

They are both charged with a felony count of burglary as well as misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief, torturing an animal, and petit larceny. Austin and Aden are being held at the Erie County Holding Center.
