BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — We are two weeks away from Halloween night, and not every family will feel safe going door to door for trick or treating.
That's why the Cheektowaga Police Department hosted an event called, Trunk or Treat on Saturday.
Families stayed in their cars, and drove up to a station set up at Cheektowaga Town Park and made a donation to the food pantry.
In return they got to cruise around and say hi to all the first responders.
Each family also drove away with some treats.
