BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Route 5 Eastbound ramp to the 190 north is now open after a tractor trailer overturned, spilling debris on cars parked below Thursday morning.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m. when Buffalo police say a privately owned sanitation truck was traveling from the inbound Skyway to the 190 north when the tractor trailer tipped onto its side on the ramp.
When it tipped it dumped a large amount of garbage and debris onto Pearl Street, damaging three vehicles and two light poles.
There are no reports of any injuries, officials are continuing to investigate and charges are pending against the driver of the tractor trailer.
