The Erie County Sheriff's department is asking for you help in tracking down a tractor-trailer involved in a hit and run crash.
The accident took place about 11:00 A.M. at the intersection of Transit and Clinton in the Town of Elma on February 26. According to police, the truck was traveling northbound on Transit Road when it make a right turn onto Clinton Street. Witnesses say the truck veered into the left lane of Transit Road and struck another vehicle. The truck never stopped.
The Sheriff’s Office is looking for a blue or purple-ish cab with a full length, open box aluminum trailer with a canvass cover. The trailer may have damage to the left side of the box. The tractor-trailer may have also been dragging something.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit, suffered minor injures.
