BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The ban on tractor trailers traveling on the New York State Thruway in Western New York has been lifted.
TRUCK BAN LIFTED: The tractor trailer and commercial bus ban on the Thruway from exit 46 (Rochester I-390) to the Pennsylvania border and on I-190 has been lifted.

Tractor trailers and commercial buses are now allowed to travel on the Thruway from exit 46 (Rochester I-390) to the Pennsylvania border.
The ban on the I-190 has also been lifted as of Thursday evening.
State officials say more than 200 tickets were given to truck drivers who violated the travel ban.
