Town of West Seneca to hold virtual Memorial Day ceremony

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Town of West Seneca announced Tuesday it will hold its Memorial Day ceremony virtually due to COVID-19.

The event is sponsored by the West Seneca Joint Veterans Committee and will take place May 25 at 11:00 a.m. on the Town of West Seneca Facebook page.

Gary Dickson, Supervisor of the Town of West Seneca, will be the guest speaker for the ceremony.

The West Seneca Joint Veterans Committee consists of member units from Harvey D. Morin VFW Post 2940, Navy Seabee Veterans of America Island X-5, AMVETS Post 8113, 82nd Airborne, American Legion Post 735, Marine Corp. League Detachment 239, and Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW Post 8113.
