BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Town of Tonawanda man has been arraigned on an indictment charging him with the murder of his girlfriend.
Prosecutors say 51-year-old Mario Turner shot and killed 49-year-old Renee Taschetta at their apartment on Dumas Place in the Town of Tonawanda on APril 30, 2019.
Turner is being held without bail. He is scheduled to return to court August 6.
If convicted, Turner faces 25 years to life in prison.
