TOWN OF NIAGARA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Town of Niagara police say a man is in critical but stable condition after he was struck by a vehicle on Military Road Monday.

Around 6 p.m. Monday Police closed Military Road between Porter-Packard Road and 3rd Avenue "due to a serious injury pedestrian vs. vehicle accident," for around two hours.

Police say an 85-year-old Niagara Falls man living with dementia arrived with his son at a business in the area, when he exited the vehicle he walked into the road and was struck.

Police say the driver of the vehicle was a 23-year-old Lewiston woman and there are no charges pending at this time.
