DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WKBW) — One Western New Yorker is about to be thousands of dollars richer; a top prize-winning lottery ticket has just been sold in Dunkirk.
The New York Lottery says the ticket, worth $27,646, sold at Matt's News on 93 East 3rd Street and was drawn Sunday evening.
It was one of two winning Take Five tickets to sell Sunday. The other was sold in the Bronx. That one is also worth $27,646.
Winning tickets can be cashed up to one year after the date they're drawn.
