TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Tonawanda pedestrian bridge which has been closed since 2016 due to safety concerns will be demolished later this month.
The bridge, located on Sheridan Drive between Colvin Boulevard and Delaware Road, will be demolished overnight on April 24th.
Signs will be put up in the next week to alert drivers to the overnight closure.
The work is being done while schools are on break so that there will be little disruption for students.
