TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy Jr. says a Tonawanda man was sentenced Friday for receiving child pornography from a minor.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, 35-year-old Steven Brzezinski who previously stole thousands of dollars from his church and had a previous conviction of endangering the welfare of a child was in possession of a tablet containing child pornography.
Following an investigation it was revealed Brzezinski had a romantic relationship with a 15-year-old boy over the internet and had received child pornography from the minor via Facebook Messenger.
Brzezinski was sentenced to 96 months in prison and 20 years supervised released.
