CITY OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — City of Tonawanda police say a Tonawanda man faces several felony charges after breaking into storage trailers and vans stealing thousands of dollars of electrical tools, four separate times.
According to police, 43-year-old Ricky Wood broke into a storage trailer on Young Street and stole tools back in December 2019.
Then police say Wood stole thousands of dollars from a storage trailer on Main Street in July.
Police then say Wood broke into vans on Fillmore Avenue on September 3rd stealing $10,000 worth of tools.
According to police, Wood then broke into a storage trailer on Delaware Avenue on September 23rd.
Wood has been charged with the following
- Three counts of Felony Grand Larceny
- Four counts of Criminal Mischief,
- Trespassing in the third degree
- Petit Larceny
Wood was picked up by police on Grand Island Monday night, and is expected to be arraigned Tuesday morning.
