Three arraigned on charges in connection with fatal Niagara Falls stabbing

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Niagara County District Attorney Brian Seaman announced three were arraigned Tuesday on an indictment in connection with a fatal stabbing in Niagara Falls in November 2020.

One adult, Tramaine Sanchez, and two adolescent offenders were charged in connection with the death of Kenneth Walaszek on November 16 in Niagara Falls.

Sanchez and one adolescent offender were charged with one count of second degree murder and one count of conspiracy in the second degree and remanded to the Niagara County Jail.

The other adolescent offender was charged with one count of assault in the first degree and one count of conspiracy in the fourth degree. The judge set bail at $10,000 cash/$20,000 insurance bond or $40,000 partially secured bond.

The case is due back in court March 9.
