Police: Three dead after overdosing on cocaine in North Tonawanda apartment

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Three adults are dead after accidentally overdosing on cocaine inside an apartment in North Tonawanda, according to police.

Officers arrived at 259 Oliver Street around 8:45 a.m. after receiving a 911 call from a friend of the people found inside. The friend told police all four had consumed cocaine around midnight. He then passed out. When he woke up, police say he found his friends dead in different locations around the apartment.

Friends tell 7 Eyewitness News one of the adults was a woman who had lived in the back apartment for about seven years.

There was no indication of a struggle or any injuries to the bodies, police said.
