CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Don't be alarmed, this is only a drill!
On Friday, September 27, crews at the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport will be conducting a full-scale emergency exercise. This drill will involve a realistic, but mock incident with police, fire and emergency services on site. Representatives from the airport issued a message on Twitter Thursday reading, "We want to be sure the public is aware that this is not a real accident or crisis situation."
The exercise is expected to begin at 6:00pm.
