The Washington Post calls Buffalo 'newly hot,' lists things to do in town

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo is getting some national recogniton courtesy of The Washington Post.

It posted an article Wednesday calling the City of Good Neighbors "open-hearted" and a "hot spot year-round," and showcasing things to do around town.

It's part of on ongoing series called "You’re going where?", which each month highlights "the best vacation destinations you’ve probably never considered."

The article points readers to check out a variety of places such as RiverWorks, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, and Big Ditch.

And of course, it mentions the snow. But it also says Buffalo "knows exactly what to do with itself in any kind of weather."
