The Buffalo Zoo announces new winter hours to begin November 16

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Zoo announced its new winter operating hours which begin November 16.

Starting Monday, November 16 the zoo will be closed to the public Monday through Thursday and open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The winter hours will be in place until March 28, 2021.

The zoo will be open select times during the week throughout the winter which include:

  • Monday, December 21 through Thursday, December 31, 2020.
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 2021 (Monday, January 18, 2021).
  • Presidents Day 2021 (Monday, February 15, 2021).

The zoo will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Our educators will provide on-site and online programming, while our marketing, membership, and development teams will continue to engage our audiences and raise funds to keep the Zoo running.”
