The best way to spread Christmas cheer: Singing loud for all to hear in East Aurora

EAST AURORA, N.Y. (WKBW) — East Aurora's Carolcade has been going strong for 46 years.

It started with dozens of people on Main Street, in front of Vidler's 5 & 10 in 1972 singing along to their favorite Christmas carols. Over the years, it's exploded to hundreds of people, packed between Olean and Riley Streets.

Join the huge crowd from 7 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 15th. A choral leader will help you belt out your favorite songs while you look through a songbook with your neighbor.

The event is free to join. You can also cozy up with a cup of hot chocolate and snack on donuts while you wait for a moment with Santa Claus!

The event is sponsored by the Greater East Aurora Chamber, Vidler's 5 & 10, Tops Markets, East Aurora Rotary, East Aurora Advertiser and Dunkin' Donuts.
