BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Friends of the night people is an organization that specializes in giving those suffering from homelessness food, clothing, and even medical attention.
"We're trying to just be that resource where people can come if they need help" Friends of the night people Executive Director Joseph Heary said.
This resource, something that could be seeing a huge bump in a donation of over $8,000. That donation will go toward supplies, and an increase in community outreach as they hope the Western New York community can come together to fight homelessness.
"To heighten people's awareness of homelessness and poverty and make sure that everyone knows what to do when they see someone who is dealing with homelessness."
