ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — A few weeks ago six-year-old Molly Slawiak of Orchard Park grabbed some paper and her gel pens and decided to write two thank you cards. Those thank you cards went to her grandpas graves, to show her appreciation for their service in the Military.
"We love you veterans," Molly wrote on her card. "They are nice and they keep us safe."
Molly's parents, Wes and Jena Slawiak took their daughter to drop the cards off at the grave site. They say it was a great moment to talk about their family history and why it's so important to continue to remember the heroes who risked their lives to protect us.
