LANCASTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — Lancaster police are investigating a hit and run that has injured an 18-year-old man.
According to police, the teenager was hit by a tractor pulling a lowboy trailer, with the person responsible then driving away. Police say the driver has since been located and is in custody. The individual is cooperating with police.
The teen, whose name has not been released, was taken to Erie County Medical Center. The teen is currently in the ICU in serious condition.
Ransom Road was closed from Peppermint to Schlemmer as crews conducted their investigation.
