SILVER CREEK, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 16-year-old was struck and killed by a train on CSX railroad tracks in the village of Silver Creek Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, just before 4 p.m., police responded a report of a pedestrian struck by a train.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Due to the victim's age, the Sheriff's Office is not releasing their name.
