BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A West Palm Beach based restaurant “Tree’s Wings and Ribs” has been planning a trip to Buffalo for the past 8 months.
It’s all to compete in this weekend’s annual Wing Fest.
But, it was after they got on the road earlier this week the storm Dorian was upgraded and put their home and business right in the path of the storm.
Bracing for a hard impact, the group grappled with turning back around, but family and friends back home urged them to stay.
Now, they’re gearing up to compete in the world-renowned competition hoping to take home the top prize for their specialty wings!
