PULASKI, N.Y. (WKBW) — Intellipure, a Healthway company, has been manufacturing air cleaners that eradicate harmful particles for more than 20 years.

Due to COVID-19, the company has seen great need in the community.

"We're producing between five and six thousand units a week," Healthway Global President Vinny Lobdell said.

Based in Pulaski, New York, their machines are incredibly effective when cleaning the air of certain viruses.

"We have a machine that can capture particles that are smaller than COVID-19."

The effectiveness against the coronavirus is what has made the company so in need as they are putting healthcare professionals first in their manufacturing process.

"Our goal right now is to provide first line protection to New York State and healthcare responders there," Lobdell said.

This includes Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. Just one of many hospitals Intellipure is working with.

"We're turning down millions of dollars in orders to help support the epicenter of this crisis," Lobdell said.
