Suspect wanted in Pennsylvania last seen in Chautauqua County Town of Harmony

TOWN OF HARMONY, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office says a suspect wanted in Pennsylvania was last seen in the Chautauqua County Town of Harmony.

On July 7 around 8 p.m. Pennsylvania State police were in pursuit of the suspect, the pursuit began in Pennsylvania and ended in the Town of Harmony when the suspect drove into a ditch at the corner of Kortwright Rd and Niobe Rd according to the sheriff's office.

The suspect then fled into a wooded area on foot, the sheriff's office says the area was searched by multiple agencies and K9 units but the subject was not immediately located. The search ended around 9:30 p.m.

Officials say there is no indication the suspect is still in NYS, but if residents see any suspicious activity they should not hesitate to contact the sheriff's office.
