HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — We're just over three weeks away from Christmas, but that hasn't stopped Western New Yorkers from getting into the holiday spirit!
Every year, Aurelien Bouche-Pillon wears a santa costume and surfs the waves on Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
We caught him surfing on Hamburg Beach on Thursday.
"Today was a perfect day to go surfing, the sun is out, you've got beautiful Buffalo in the background," Bouche-Pillon said. "The wind and the waves were perfect. It's a great way to enjoy Lake Erie and I wear the Santa costume to bring joy and to encourage people to stay young and to keep dreaming."
