BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — SUNY colleges are collecting and donating comfort bags for victims and survivors of sexual and interpersonal violence.
A "SUNY's Got Your Back" event took place Wednesday at Niagara County Community College.
The program has already surpassed its goal with more than 28,500 bags assembled for survivors who seek help from shelters, centers and hospitals across the state.
NCCC saw more than 100 volunteers help stuff and donate 4,000 bags toward the cause Wednesday.
