BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 14-year-old student has been suspended after assaulting a teacher at McKinley High School in Buffalo.
The assault happened Thursday. The Buffalo News reports the teacher suffered cuts and bruises after the student slammed the teacher over a chair.
According to Buffalo Police, the student has been charged with assault and harrassment.
District spokeswoman Elena Cala tells 7 Eyewitness News the teacher will be placed on leave pending further investigation.
