The City of Buffalo's Department of Public Works reported the weather caused outages at traffic signals including the signal on Main Street near the UB South campus and at Jefferson Avenue and Riley. Drivers should always treat signals with outages as four-way stop intersections.
The City also says the Forestry Department responded to at least a dozen calls involving down trees.
In Hamburg, lake levels and wave heights peaked, causing minor flooding in some areas.
