JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WKBW) — Two men are in trouble with the law after police say they found stolen guns and drugs inside a Jamestown home.
Police responded to a call of shots fired inside a home on Bowen Street. Officers say 19-year-old Jahdiel Rivera, and 21-year-old Omar Vera-Velazquez were inside the house and shots were fired. Both men were in possession of four stolen handguns, according to police.
One of the guns was stolen from a burglary in Chautauqua County-- while the other three guns were taken from a gun shop in Columbus, Pennsylvania. Police also found an seized more than two ounces of cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and other drug paraphernalia.
Both Rivera and Vera-Velazquez are charged with four counts of possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, and other criminal charges. The suspects are behind bars and awaiting arraignment.
