Workers United will soon encourage the public to once again sip at SPoT Coffee.

In July, workers protested after two employees said they were fired for trying to organize a union meeting.

Workers voted in August to unionize. The vote involved SPoT locations at Hertel, Elmwood, Williamsville and Delaware Avenue.

The two impacted workers have since been reinstated with full back pay in an National Labor Relations Board settlement.

Therefore, at an event scheduled for Thursday, the boycott of SPoT Coffee will be declared over and everyone will be asked to patronize Buffalo’s Union Spot.

Spot coffee union members and Workers United will both take part of Thursday's event.
