BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino announced Thursday sports betting will begin Friday December 13th.
The Seneca Buffalo Creek Sports Lounge will hold a first bet ceremony and ribbon cutting Friday morning.
This is the first sports lounge opening for Seneca Gaming Corporation
In January the New York State Gaming Commission approved the NYS Senate's proposal to legalize sports gambling in New York State.
Seneca Resorts and Casinos has added electronic kiosk stations and in-person windows to take bets. Seneca Gaming CEO Holly Gagnon said in-play betting will also be available.
The technology platform is provided by Kambi, the platform for many sportsbooks in the United States.
In November Seneca Resorts and Casinos announced they will be the exclusive sportsbook partner of the Buffalo Sabres.
