BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Chautauqua County man is facing charges, accused of impersonating a veteran to receive benefits.
Sheriff's deputies say they received a report from a local veteran program that a member was possibly impersonating a military veteran. After an investigation, deputies say they determined Glenn French was using an alias to impersonate a veteran so he could receive services that he was not entitled to.
Authorities say they also found French forged a fraudulent document.
French is charged with theft of services, criminal impersonation and forgery.
