BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A source tells 7 News reporter Holly Kirkpatrick that Assembly Majority Leader Crystal Peoples-Stokes, one of our region's most powerful lawmakers, will not seek reelection this fall.
Peoples-Stokes is expected to make an official announcement at a news conference on Wednesday.
Peoples-Stokes has served in the New York State Assembly for the past 23 years, and she has served as majority leader since 2018.
