BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Western New York's 2nd Sonic Drive-In location is in the works for North Buffalo.
Kevin DiPirro, the franchisee of the Sonic location on Union Road in Cheektowaga, has signed a lease with Uniland Development to build a 3,500-square-foot restaurant at the northwest corner of Elmwood and Hertel avenues.
In addition to Sonic's trademark drive-up service, the restaurant will have indoor seating that can accommodate approximately 85 people. An opening date for the new location has not been announced.
