BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Police say one person is dead and two others are seriously injured following a head-on collision on the Skyway.
Authorities say the two-car accident happened at about 11:30 p.m. at the top of the inbound stretch of the Skyway.

Investigators say one vehicle was driving in the wrong direction at high speeds and caused the head-on crash.
There were a total of three people involved. A female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers were taken to ECMC with serious injuries.
The Skyway was closed in both directions for about five hours before being reopened on Friday morning.
