BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Western New Yorkers who use 'SkipTheDishes' to order food, will have to find another food delivery service in the next month. 'SkipTheDishes' sent an email to participating local restaurants Tuesday announcing the company was "exiting the United States market."

In the email, Skip says it's Canada's market leader in online food delivery, and plans to focus building the business and brand in Canada. The company is based in Winnipeg.

More than 200 WNY restaurants worked with the service, which came to Buffalo in 2016. In the email, 'SkipTheDishes' wrote, "Please accept this as formal notification of termination of your contract with Skip." The email went on to say that the termination would coincide with the company's integration with Grubhub, and that restaurants should expect to hear from Grubhub about the opportunity to transition to their network.
