BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo fire officials say six people including three firefighters are hurt after battling a fire on Buffalo's west side, Saturday night.
Authorities say the fire started on the first floor of a home at 698 Prospect Avenue, just after 8:30 p.m.
Fire officials say three people were sent to ECMC to be treated for smoke inhalation.
Investigators also say three firefighters suffered various non-life threatening injuries to be treated at local hospitals.
Officials estimate the fire caused $400,000 in damage.
Two people are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
