ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — According to 13 WHAM, the ABC affiliate in Rochester, nine people are in self-quarantine as the Monroe County Department of Health continues to monitor for the coronavirus.

A spokesperson for Monroe County says regulations put in place by the federal government earlier this month require U.S. citizens coming back from China to undergo screenings at major airports and take part in a two-week-long self-quarantine.

None of the individuals currently under voluntary quarantine are showing symptoms of illness.

As of today, there have been no confirmed cases of the virus in New York.

The state has a designated hotline for questions or concerns about the virus: 1-888-364-3065.
