BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Bills will not be allowed to play the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California next Monday night.
Santa Clara County health officials have put new restrictions in place as COVID-19 cases continue to rise. This includes a temporary ban on all professional and collegiate sports in which there is direct physical contact.
The 49ers have responded to the new regulations in a tweet, saying
"We are aware of the Santa Clara County Public Health Department's emergency directive. We are working with the NFL and our partners on operational plans and will share details as they are confirmed."
The game is scheduled to be played Monday, December 7th.
