LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — A majority of New York State voters are in favor of a ban on single-useplastic bags.
That's according to a new Sienna College Poll.
The poll looked at several proposals included in the recently passed state budget.
More than 60-percent of New York State voter are in favor of the ban on plastic bags.

On the flip side, 58-percent of voters think banning the release of mug shots will be bad for New York.
A majority of New Yorkers also were strongly opposed to the governor getting a raise in salary.
