YOUNGSTOWN, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office says it is investigating a fire at the kitchen of the Niagara Frontier Golf Club in Youngstown.
The sheriff's office says deputies and firefighters responded to smoke coming from the main building at the country club, just before 8 p.m., Wednesday.
Crews then discovered a fire coming from the kitchen area of the country club, and were able to extinguish it quickly.
The sheriff's office says there is significant damage to the kitchen as a result of the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
