NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. (WKBW) — An inmate in the Niagara County Correctional Facility is facing new charges after authorities say he threw a liquid at a correction officer.
The alleged incident happened on August 3, just before noon.
Authorities say 39-year-old Kevin Spellman threw what is presumed to be urine at a correctional officer, hitting the officer in the head, neck and chest area.
Spellman is charged with Aggravated Harassment of an Employee by an Inmate.
